After careful consideration, GL events Exhibitions Industrie has announced its decision not to hold the 2026 edition of the CFIC trade show in Marseille on June 9 & 10, 2026. This difficult decision is part of a responsible and consistent approach towards the key players that our company supports throughout the year through all of its industrial events (CFIA, GLOBAL INDUSTRIE, PROD&PACK, SEPEM INDUSTRIES, VINEQUIP, VRACTECH, etc.).
We are operating in an extremely sensitive economic and geopolitical context that is impacting all manufacturers, leading them to be more cautious and reserved in their choice of events to participate in. As such, the CFIC's unique positioning, which was its strength—a regional industry event focused on environmental transition—places it lower on the list of priorities for professionals.
With six months to go before the event, GL events Exhibitions Industrie believes that the conditions necessary for the event's success are not in place.

« Deeply grateful for the trust placed in us by our partners, exhibitors, and visitors, we have taken this difficult but conscious decision not to go ahead with this edition, which would not have met our respective expectations. It is a difficult choice, but a responsible one, guided by a desire to preserve our relationship with our industrial partners.»

In solidarity with this decision, Cosmed reaffirms its full commitment to environmental and biodiversity issues in 2026, which are at the heart of the transformations taking place in the cosmetics industry. The association will organize Les Rencontres de la Biodiversité 2026, a tour of France that will take place between February and December 2026 in seven Cosmetopôles, in close collaboration with the Regional Biodiversity Agencies (ARB) and the Regional Economic Services of the State (SEER).
In addition, Cosm'Agri Business Day will be held on June 9, 2026, in Lyon, in partnership with Cosmed. The detailed program for this professional day dedicated to synergies between the agricultural world and cosmetics manufacturers will be unveiled shortly.
