Service for predicting the impact of a cosmetic formula on the aquatic environment

Description

Propose a virtuous model to facilitate industrials access to the prediction of the impact of their cosmetic formulas on the aquatic environment based on recognized methods compliant with AFNOR Spec 2215 and expertise in QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationships) models.

Long description

This service calculates the biodegradability index and predicts the ecotoxicity of a cosmetic formula from its ingredients using the methods described in AFNOR Spec 2215 which concerns the display of the environmental and societal impact of cosmetic products. The existing data of each ingredient are retrieved (databases, suppliers, ...), and the missing data are generated by QSAR models, which avoids testing on living organisms. Our database is fed with predictions made, thus reducing costs over time. An entry price including 3 predictions with QSAR models facilitates access to the service.
