L’Occitane’s net-zero 2050 policy backed in line with Paris Agreement goals
Description
To achieve this, the French group has set up a roadmap based on 3 pillars:
- Reducing emissions linked to energy consumption by using renewable energy (95% of its electricity in 2021 will be green) and optimizing consumption.
- Reduce emissions from product sourcing, transport and use: no more air transport, consumer awareness campaigns on water use, etc.
- Preserve and restore carbon-capturing ecosystems to neutralize residual emissions.
