In vitro photoprotection tests

Description

In order to ensure that your formulas achieve the expected photoprotection factors, HELIOSCIENCE carries out in vitro FPS , UVA-PF, CW screening according to its own methods that have been specially developed to be adapted to the measurement of different galenic containing different types of UV filters and whose results are correlated with those obtained with in vivo tests. HELIOSCIENCE also proposes standardized in vitro methods: - Determination of UVA-PF and CW according to ISO 24443 - Determination of CW and UVAI/UV ratio according to the FDA M020 method and its amendment proposal. The principle of all these methods is the same: the formula is spread on PMMA plates which are then analyzed by spectrophotometric method.
